About Maria:
Maria Zarrillo (they/them) is an Arts Manager with a background in producing, stage management, advocacy, and research. Maria has worked with a variety of companies and communities in these capacities both locally and nationally. Maria is the Managing Director of Rumble, working alongside Artistic Director Jivesh Parasram, while maintaining a freelance career in stage management. They are a self-described horror enthusiast, non-fiction writer, avid reader, and art-seer. They recently launched their horror blog called Horror Addenda. Maria is a graduate of Studio 58’s production program, the University of Winnipeg with a major in Theatre & Film and a minor in Human Rights, and holds a Master of Arts in Justice Studies from Royal Roads University. Inspired by several scholars such as José Esteban Muñoz, Jack Halberstam, and Lee Edelman, Maria’s thesis titled Queer Utopian Theory for Transformative Change in Theatre Organizations looks to the concept of queer utopia to address inequities within the theatre sector, with a focus on the role of theatre organizations. Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg, is an award winning creator, performer, choreographer, director, writer, and artistic director of Tara Cheyenne Performance, working across disciplines in film, dance, theatre, and experimental performance. She is renowned as a trailblazer in interdisciplinary performance and as a mighty performer "who defies categorization on any level". Along with her own creations Tara has collaborated with many theatre companies and artists including; Zee Zee Theatre, Bard on the Beach, ItsaZoo Theatre, The Arts Club, Boca De Lupo, Ruby Slippers, The Firehall Arts Centre, Vertigo Theatre (Calgary). 
With a string of celebrated solo shows to her credit (including bANGER, Goggles, Porno Death Cult, I can’t remember the word for I can’t remember, Body Parts, Pants), multidisciplinary collaborations, commissions and boundary bending ensemble creations Tara's work is celebrated both nationally and internationally.  Tara is known for her unique and dynamic hybrid of dance, comedy and theatre. She is sought after for creating innovative movement for theatre and has performed her full length solos and ensemble works around the world (highlights: DanceBase/Edinburgh, South Bank Centre/London, On the Boards/Seattle USA, High Performance Rodeo/Calgary etc.). Recent works include a collaboration with Italian dance/performance artist Silvia Gribaudi, empty.swimming.pool, (Castiglioncello, Bassano, Victoria and Vancouver), ensemble creation, how to be,  which premiered at The Cultch, and her solo I can’t remember the word for I can’t remember, toured widely, and her newest solo Body Parts has been made into a stunning film which is currently touring virtually. About Arthi:
Arthi Chandra is a very serious director, writer, and lesbian based out of Vancouver, BC. She has directed and produced with many companies in both BC and Ontario (The Arts Club, Bard on the Beach, The Shaw Festival, Theatre Replacement, The Chop Theatre, Studio 58, Pacific Theatre, UBC, and more). Arthi teaches devising and directing at the post-secondary level and enjoys it very much. She graduated from Simon Fraser University’s School of Contemporary Arts; was recently part of WhyNot Theatre’s ThisGen fellowship; and is an Associate Artist at Theatre Replacement. She also acts, and is the happiest while cooking or gardening.

About Mary:
Mary Hartman (she/her) has combined an academic background and experience as a professional actor and director to create opportunities for people all ages to learn through participating in Shakespeare performance. Mary has played a variety of roles professionally including Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Horatio in Hamlet and Phebe in As You Like It and has directed productions of Shakespeare’s plays in extraordinary situations, from a seven-person workshop of Measure for Measure to Julius Caesar with 150 fourth graders. As Director of Education at Bard on the Beach, she has designed and developed many new programs to inspire community through Shakespeare. She has traveled extensively to share strategies through associations of teachers and theatre professionals. She holds a master’s degree from King’s College, University of London and a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, and has received numerous awards and honours.

About Christina:
 
Christina Cook (she/they) is an interdisciplinary theatre artist, arts-based scholar, and therapist. When Christina was a kid, she wanted to be a counsellor like her favourite character, Deanna Troi, on Star Trek, OR she wanted to act alongside Deanna Troi, starring in her favourite TV show, Star Trek. She feels lucky that, as an adult, she gets to do different versions of both. Christina’s playwriting focuses on trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming narratives, and her work advocates gender liberation for all. She is writing and performing in one of her newest pieces, Postcards to My Younger Transexual Self (or YTS), Ages 0-119. Christina’s previous writing credits include the play Quick Bright Things, which was nominated for a Governor General’s award, and ‘A practical (if dated) treatise on the art of genderqueer dancing’ in Evan Tsitsias and Bilal Baig’s This is Beyond: A Time Capsule of Queer Experience. She is currently an Associate at Playwrights Theatre Centre, where she is developing her play Proof Enough. In addition to her artistic work, Christina is a counselling psychologist, and she strives to foster interdisciplinary work born from passionate commitments to mental wellness and theatre.

About Vanessa:
Vanessa Goodman acknowledges that she lives, works, and creates on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Simon Fraser University and is the artistic director of Action at a Distance Dance Society. She is drawn to art that carries meaning beyond aesthetics, using choreography as a means to explore liminal expressions within the human condition. Her choreographic practice weaves together generative movement and sonic embodiment to create immersive performative environments. Through her work, she seeks to cultivate intimacy between the body and its surroundings, challenging conventional forms of performative hierarchy through collaborative approaches. She has received several awards and honours, including The Iris Garland Emerging Choreographer Award (2013), The Yulanda M. Sarah Finn (she/they) is a performer, writer and multimedia artist making theater and film. Their work plays with found + original text and media, puppetry, clown and movement, to create landscapes of humor & freak-out. Her solo show Is this the right thing to be doing? was presented at Portland Institute of Contemporary Art in 2024, and its full-length version will premiere in Vancouver in September 2025. Their performances & films have been presented at festivals in North America, Czech Republic, Germany, and Japan, as well as venues in New York, including Anthology Film Archives and Mabou Mines, where they received a Brooklyn Arts Council Grant, MAP Fund Microgrant, and were a resident-artist at Mabou Mines and Object Movement. Emma McGlashen (Creative Director of Murmuration Theatre Co, she/they) is a multidisciplinary creative based in Brooklyn. They have been lucky enough to be in, learn in, direct, and produce work in a range of spaces: from the University of Michigan to the Stella Adler Studio to CPCP to the Edinburgh Fringe Fest, in the NY Theater Festival, 3 Dollar Bill BK, The Tank NYC, Under St. Marks, and more. Favorite new work from the past few years includes Michael Quinn’s Fishtown, Jessica Moss’s The Do-Gooders, and Bella Hathorne’s you are seen.

Tara Cheyenne Friedenberg, is an award winning creator, performer, choreographer, director, writer, and artistic director of Tara Cheyenne Performance, working across disciplines in film, dance, theatre, and experimental performance. She is renowned as a trailblazer in interdisciplinary performance and as a mighty performer "who defies categorization on any level". Along with her own creations Tara has collaborated with many theatre companies and artists including; Zee Zee Theatre, Bard on the Beach, ItsaZoo Theatre, The Arts Club, Boca De Lupo, Ruby Slippers, The Firehall Arts Centre, Vertigo Theatre (Calgary). 
With a string of celebrated solo shows to her credit (including bANGER, Goggles, Porno Death Cult, I can’t remember the word for I can’t remember, Body Parts, Pants), multidisciplinary collaborations, commissions and boundary bending ensemble creations Tara's work is celebrated both nationally and internationally.  Tara is known for her unique and dynamic hybrid of dance, comedy and theatre. She is sought after for creating innovative movement for theatre and has performed her full length solos and ensemble works around the world (highlights: DanceBase/Edinburgh, South Bank Centre/London, On the Boards/Seattle USA, High Performance Rodeo/Calgary etc.). Recent works include a collaboration with Italian dance/performance artist Silvia Gribaudi, empty.swimming.pool, (Castiglioncello, Bassano, Victoria and Vancouver), ensemble creation, how to be,  which premiered at The Cultch, and her solo I can’t remember the word for I can’t remember, toured widely, and her newest solo Body Parts has been made into a stunning film which is currently touring virtually. Tara lives on the unceded Coast Salish territories with her partner composer Marc Stewart and their child.
